On 10 May in the course of celebration of the 65th anniversary of Victory over Nazism and the memory of the heroes and victims of World War II the Memorial Synagogue on Poklonnaya Hill held the ceremony of making a Sefer Torah. The solemn meeting was established by the Euro-Asian and the Russian Jewish Congress. Russian Jewish Congress involves new donators

Exhibition "Pales of settlement" opens in Moscow
On 13 April 2010 in the Marble Hall of the M. I. Rudomino Library of Foreign Literature under support of the Russian Jewish Congress opened exhibition “Pales of Settlement”. By the idea of the manager of the exhibition, Vice-President of the RJC Sergei Ustinov and its curator Leonid Livonia, the project could serve as a basis for a museum of Jewish history in Moscow. |

Holocaust and Heroism Day
International Holocaust Remembrance Day was established by the UN General Assembly on 1 November, 2005 (Resolution ¹60/7).
